Media and Documentation Program
The Media and Documentation Program is one of the core programs at the Press House – Palestine. It aims to strengthen the role of independent media within Palestinian society, advance the production of journalistic and digital content, and document issues, events, and violations related to media freedoms and human rights.
The program aligns with the organization's mission to support freedom of opinion and expression, promote journalistic professionalism, and provide an independent platform to convey Palestinian societal issues.
It focuses on producing and publishing journalistic and media materials, documenting events and testimonies through photo, audio, and video, and archiving documentation according to professional methodologies, while employing modern digital tools to present the Palestinian narrative and spotlight humanitarian and social issues locally and internationally.
The program also seeks to support female and male journalists and youth interested in media by developing their reporting and digital content production skills. This effort helps expand access to information, reinforce accuracy, credibility, and independence, and combat disinformation and hate speech.
Through its activities and initiatives, the program works to make media and documentation instruments for preserving Palestinian collective memory, highlighting issues of concern, and promoting accountability and freedom of expression—serving the Palestinian community and fostering a professional, responsible media landscape.
